Accessing Archie
There are a few different ways to access our Archie service, whilst the software is still under active development, more features will be unlocked in the future.

For now, continue reading below for a variety of ways to access the Archie service.

WWW
Probably the easiest way to access and search anonymous FTP sites for files, the WWW server for our Archie server. It can be accessed by visiting this website.

Note that there is no SSL enabled, thus only available over HTTP.

Telnet
The Archie server is of course also available over the Telnet protocol, which can be accessed with a terminal emulator, simply open a connection to archie.macdomain.net and log in with the username archie to get started.

Archie Enabled Client(s)
If you have, for instance, Anarchie v3.5 or below on the Macintosh, you can set the Archie server to archie.macdomain.net.
